They interviewed groups who run community facilities to investigate whether the council should support a newbuild community centre (i.e. whether they should support our project). The report was presented to the Local Area Committee (made of Councillors for Chapeltown (Chapel Allerton), Roundhay and Moortown) on 16th October 2006. It contains our request for them to provide us with a letter in support of the project and for the Local Area Team to work with us in identifying and putting aside land for us to buy at market value. |
